Job Category Software Engineering Job Details About Salesforce Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce. Engineering at Qualified is a high-ownership, high-velocity environment where engineers ship customer-facing product to real enterprises at scale. We’re building at the frontier of AI + product: developing agentic software and embedding AI directly into our platform, using modern toolchains and processes that help engineers move faster while staying focused on high-impact problem solving. Following our acquisition by Salesforce, we continue to operate with the pace and ownership of a startup—backed by the distribution, resources, and long-term runway of a global enterprise. Engineers have true end-to-end ownership from idea to production: scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement based on real customer feedback, without layers of approvals slowing you down. The Role Software Factory is a brand-new team industrializing how we build software. We’re building the platform that lets coding agents do real work against our codebase: remote sandboxes where agents run our full build safely, the orchestration that kicks off that work from Slack, Linear, GitHub, and schedulers, and the observability that makes the output trustworthy at scale. A deliberate choice shapes this team: we run the best off-the-shelf coding agents (Claude, Codex, Cursor, and whatever comes next) rather than building our own. This team’s product is the factory around them: the sandboxes, triggers, context, review surfaces, and audit trails that turn raw agent capability into dependable engineering output for the whole org. As a software engineer and one of the team’s first hires, you’ll shape that platform from the ground up while shipping to demanding internal customers from day one: every engineer at Qualified. You’ll partner closely with our CTO on everything the team builds, from architecture and build-vs-buy decisions to what the factory takes on next. What You’ll Do Build triggers and orchestration that turn Slack messages, Linear tickets, GitHub events, and schedules into agent runs with concrete outcomes: PRs, preview environments, documents, and Slack replies Shape the context agents work with: the codebase and its history, Notion, Slack, Datadog, and integration twins for systems like Salesforce Build human-in-the-loop surfaces for reviewing and steering agent plans, artifacts, and code Evaluate and integrate a fast-moving ecosystem of sandboxes, orchestrators, and agents with sound build-vs-buy judgment Partner directly with our CTO to shape priorities, architecture, and what the factory takes on next Own delivery from design through launch, monitoring, and iteration Help set the patterns for how the entire engineering org works with agents day to day Who You Are Hands-on with coding agents and LLM tooling (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar), with real opinions about where they shine and where they fail Proven experience building developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or platform infrastructure that other engineers depend on daily Build observability for agent work: traces, tool audit trails, and cost per execution, with sampling-based trace review like QC on a factory line A track record of delivering complex systems leading engineers Comfortable operating in ambiguity: a new team means the roadmap and conventions are still being written, and you find that energizing Pragmatic build-vs-buy judgment: the ecosystem moves weekly, and you’d rather integrate something great than rebuild it Why Join Qualified Define how software gets built : This isn’t one product’s roadmap. It’s the factory the entire engineering org uses to build everything else, and your leverage compounds with every team that adopts it. Day-one greenfield : A brand-new team where the architecture is yours to shape, with real internal customers and real constraints from the first week. The frontier, applied : Coding agents are the fastest-moving area in software. This role is about making them safe, orchestrated, and trustworthy at company scale. High bar, low bureaucracy : Work with a team that values craft and decisive execution, where strong ideas win and shipping is the default. If you’re excited to build the platform that puts coding agents to work safely for an entire engineering org, we’d love to hear from you. Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best , and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best . Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
