The role
From TikTok's own posting.
Global E-commerce is a discovery-driven e-commerce business, working to become a destination for users to discover and buy good products at affordable prices. We build a shopping experience that feels tailored to each user, and a platform merchants can rely on across live and short-video commerce.
TikTok Shop is a more personalized way to shop, where joy, entertainment, and discovery meet. People engage directly with sellers and creators through shoppable videos and interactive livestreams, discovering and buying trending products without leaving the app. We want to be where people find innovative, unique, high-quality products from around the world, in an environment that stays safe and secure for sellers, creators, and users alike.
