The role
From Google's own posting.
Chrome has grown into one of the world's most popular products, driven by the interdependent evolution of the highly capable web platform that enables developers to build great sites and the simple, fast, secure browser that helps users experience those sites. While our core mission remains unchanged – to make the web work better for you – the ecosystem is undergoing a profound shift with the rapid rise of AI and agentic task delegation.
In response, we are reinventing the browser for AI collaboration with a bold outlook: Chrome will be the best place to get things done with all of your favorite apps, sites, and agents. As the Chrome team, we have a unique responsibility to ensure the web platform adapts to this new era, giving AI builders the tools they need to create innovative experiences and equipping all developers with the capabilities they need to grow in the agentic era.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
