Position Summary Design and develop complex and large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights and addresses reporting needs. Develop frameworks, standards & reference material for architecture and associated products. Write complex ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, designs database systems and develops tools for real-time and offline analytic processing. Deploy analytics programs, machine learning, and statistical methods to prepare data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling. Build infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using modern data engineering technologies. Generate reports and updates to inform leadership of Data Engineering operations, recommending ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Collaborate with stakeholders including the executive, product, and design teams to assist with data-related technical issues that support the company's data infrastructure needs. Act as a SME on data engineering projects, sharing project developments and clarifying requests with stakeholders to ensure operations comply with stakeholders' standards. Coach junior-level team members and share knowledge with the broader company team to disseminate project plans and improve department operations. Collaborate with data science team to generate data tools for analytics, transform data and integrate algorithms and models into highly available, production systems. Required Qualifications 7-10 years work experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline Adept at problem solving and decision making skills Adept at collaboration and teamwork Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Adept at business intelligence Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud systems like GCP, Azure and AWS Experience building solutions that utilize GenAI capabilties. Education Masters degree in Computer Science or other relevant Engineering degree Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $106,605.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
