As the Senior Product Manager-Oncology, you will lead global, end-to-end marketing for the Molecular Diagnostics oncology business. You will drive strategic planning, cross functional collaboration and execution of the oncology marketing strategy. This role is responsible for developing sales enabling tolls, messaging, and programs, while partnering with sales leadership to support field performance and revenue goals. You will oversee product launches, lifecycle management, third-party relationships, and ongoing product support. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic marketing plans, support new product development, and create materials for sales training and industry presentations. What You’ll Work On Maintain worldwide market expertise for products, including in-depth knowledge of competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs. Leads the development of the global marketing strategy and update annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT or other situation assessments. Create and develop strategies for new product commercialization and driving share capture for existing products. Assess new markets and opportunities in support of BD and R&D. Manages new product introduction plans and global launches in coordination with cross-functional and regional teams; partners with global sales training to deliver effective education to distributors and local teams. Executes global marketing communications in collaboration with regional teams to deliver multi-channel strategies that strengthen brand presence and support market development. Partner with global peers and in-market experts to build the brand to achieve business goals. Liaison effectively with global stakeholders, both at Headquarters and in the Regions, in a matrix organizational design to bring plans to fruition. Maintains compliance with FDA regulations and company policies while fostering a safe, professional, and collaborative work environment with employees, customers, and partners. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent combination of education and work experience 6 + years’ experience and demonstrated success in a complex selling environment (multiple stakeholders, multiple decision makers, product alignment to goals / initiatives) 4+ years progressive experience in medical device, pharma, diagnostics, or related industry Experience in product, market, or program management; oncology marketing preferred Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostics, healthcare delivery, and reimbursement environments preferred Strong business acumen with strategic thinking and advanced analytical/project management skills Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence in matrixed, global environments Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across organizational levels Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 30% travel (including international) Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred, emphasis in marketing Apply Now Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.com Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
