Overview We are looking for an experienced manager to join the Verkada Core Platform team. We are building the platform and shared services that will enable Verkada to quickly bring to market a suite of IoT devices and to power Verkada’s “operating system for buildings.” As a member of the Core team, you will be the architect, designer, and developer in a broad range of projects. Responsibilities Lead projects impacting our Command product- it will include both frontend and backend engineers in your team Be able to roll up your sleeves and actively write code or prototype new features Inspire your team to create highly polished and delightful user experiences Work closely with Product and Design to build and ship features and delight users and customers Collaborate with other engineering leaders to define, communicate, and execute on goals, priorities and process Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code. Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments, evaluating their potential impact on our web platforms and recommending innovative solutions. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the web engineering team, encouraging knowledge sharing, skill-building, and career growth opportunities. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs) Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
