We're an ambitious, collaborative team of builders who love solving complex problems together, partnering closely with product, engineering, legal, and operations to ship work that meets a very high bar. As a Staff Product Designer on this team, you will lead design for new zero-to-one product experiences from early concept through national launch, shaping how millions of Americans interact with an entirely new category of financial product. This role is for someone who obsesses over the details others miss. You'll set the visual and interaction bar for products that ship to a massive, high-visibility audience, where craft quality is inseparable from trust. You'll work closely with senior leadership, engineers, researchers, data scientists, and marketers to define product direction, translate complex requirements into clear, elegant user experiences, and hold every screen to a pixel-perfect standard before it ships. This role means taking ownership of design decisions and design quality that influence both product strategy and customer outcomes for one of Robinhood's most visible and impactful product lines. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits. Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
