About the role We're looking for an Associate to join our Applied AI team in a rotational program designed to develop the next generation of technical leaders in AI. This role combines deep technical work with customer engagement, positioning you to transition into SA, Product Engineering, or other Applied AI functions after the program. Over 6 months, you'll work across a variety of Applied AI segments and functions, gaining exposure to enterprise sales cycles, product development, and technical architecture while building solutions that directly impact how our customers deploy Claude. As an Associate, you'll be a technical builder first: developing agents, creating Skills, designing internal assets, and working hands-on with Claude's SDK and API. You'll collaborate closely with Solutions Architects, Product Engineers, and Forward Deployed Engineers on complex customer problems while also partnering with Account Executives to support sales cycles. Responsibilities Build production-ready agents, Skills, and solutions using Claude's SDK and API Develop scalable internal and customer-facing technical assets (code examples, architectures, integration patterns) Document and share best practices for LLM prompting, evaluation, agentic workflows, and architecture design Create demo environments and technical proof-of-concepts that showcase Claude's capabilities Conduct technical discovery calls to understand customer requirements and development workflows Help customers design scalable architectures and develop evaluation frameworks for their AI implementations Provide technical troubleshooting and implementation support during customer evaluations Work alongside Solutions Architects and Product Engineers on complex technical requirements in sales cycles Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers on post-deployment optimization and expansion opportunities Synthesize technical feedback from customer interactions to inform product roadmap Rotate through different Applied AI segments over the 6-month program, gaining exposure to various customer profiles and use cases You may be a good fit if you have 0-2 years of software engineering, technical consulting, or solutions architecture experience Strong coding fundamentals with experience in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages Demonstrated ability to build functional applications, tools, or technical projects Experience with APIs, SDKs, and integration patterns Understanding of software development workflows, architecture patterns, and developer productivity tools 0-2 years of customer-facing technical experience (sales engineering, technical support, consulting, teaching, or similar) Comfort presenting technical concepts and adapting communication style for different audiences Strong problem-solving skills with ability to debug issues and troubleshoot technical challenges Self-starter mentality with bias toward action: you see problems and build solutions without waiting for direction Genuine enthusiasm for AI technology and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment Growth mindset with ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion Fluency in more than one language Deadline to apply: None. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: £115,000 — £115,000 GBP Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
