Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Be the Subject Matter Expert on features used for Google WAN in network operating systems.
Drive open config adoption across the GNT platforms and across industry.
Design and develop infrastructure for running network applications in a decentralized manner.
Design and develop new and innovative network applications that will have direct and material impact on Google’s network behavior.
Work with the broader ecosystem on validating features from vendors and delivering high quality solutions.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
Experience with design and delivery of network and routing software.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
Experience with design and delivery of network and routing software.
