Security Data Foundations is a new team within CCSE that ensures the data used for security evaluation and decision making across Cloud is reliable, meets a high quality bar, and evolves with changing security landscape. You'll have the opportunity to set the direction for this function in partnership with product security leaders across Google Cloud. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and TPMs responsible for Cloud CISO's product security-related data. Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the team, aligning with Cloud CISO's goals. Drive the adoption of advanced GenAI/LLM patterns to improve the accuracy and reliability of our data, and velocity of execution. Partner with Cloud CISO leadership, product security engineers, and operations teams to understand data needs, define requirements, and deliver robust solutions. Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, and security. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java or Go. 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management). 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. Experience designing and implementing distributed systems. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java or Go. 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management). 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. Experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
