Architect and evolve the platform’s APIs and core runtime capabilities to support AI usage flows for products like Gemini and Antigravity. Scale infrastructure to maintain availability, sub-millisecond validation latencies, and absolute transactional accuracy at extreme scale. Lead, grow, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-velocity engineering culture. Define and enforce standards for code quality, testing, monitoring, and deep observability across all services on the critical path. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and data science teams to identify and prioritize growth opportunities. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. Experience with large-scale distributed systems and software architecture. Experience with database systems such as Spanner. Experience programming in Java and working with ML inference. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
