Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Write product or system development code.
Contribute to developing new infrastructure and improving existing infrastructure to support Photos core services and product teams.
Build new APIs, write new business logic, and change our databases to support new features in Google Photos.
Make infrastructure changes to improve the efficiency and scale of our systems.
Work heavily with artificial intelligence tools, agents, and systems designed to automate, accelerate, and assist in writing, testing, and deploying code.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Coding skills with experience in Java and Backend.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
