The role
From Amazon's own posting.
Amazon's Same-Day delivery program is one of the fastest-growing delivery experiences in the world, delighting tens of millions of customers with ultra-fast fulfillment across thousands of cities. On the Speed team, we're redefining what “fast” means for customers — pioneering new ways to surface speed, incentivize basket-building behavior, and create compelling customer experiences that drive adoption of Same-Day delivery at scale.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive the next generation of Same-Day customer experience — designing Speed post checkout customer experience across all Speed tiers. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership, where you'll shape strategy at the intersection of customer experience, and delivery intelligence.
Key job responsibilities
• Define the future of Speed post checkout end to end across every speed tier, translating bold product instincts into measurable impact for millions of customers daily.
• Accountability across direct and adjacent teams, you will work relentlessly to deliver our post checkout vision on time. You will lead from the front exercising technical decision rights, acting as point-guard, and eliminating blockers.
• You are customer-obsessed leader demonstrating high-judgment across high-autonomy work to deliver the best Speed post checkout experience
• Own end-to-end product strategy from customer insight through launch — including PRFAQ development, usability research, prototype validation, and iterative delivery with engineering and UX partners.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across multiple partner teams that scale across marketplaces.
• Think globally — designing experiences and architectures (front-end CX, back-end engines) that are extensible across US metros and international marketplaces.
• Influence roadmaps — translating customer experience requirements into engineering priorities, working with SDEs to balance speed-to-market with long-term scalability.
A day in the life
You're solving extremely complex and broad problems, across all of Amazon. You'll be engaging with some of the most senior leaders at Amazon. You're working with a great tech team to improve an experience that many of your friends and family use regularly!
